Judith F. Costello , 70, of Franklin died suddenly April 21 in her home.
Born in Milford, April 22, 1948, the daughter of the late Michael and Mabel (Hodges) Costello, Judy was a lifelong Franklin resident.
She was a 1966 graduate of Franklin High School.
Judy had worked in the deli department at Stop and Shop in Franklin and had previously worked at Dean College.
She enjoyed playing cards, horror movies, the New England sports teams and being with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Cynthia Ann Costello of Franklin and Timothy W. McDonald, Jr. and his wife Alison of Franklin.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jordan Sawtelle, Logan McDonald and Ava McDonald.
She is also survived by her siblings, Patricia Ober of Upton, Richard Costello of Attleboro and Bobby Costello of Franklin.
She was the sister of the late Michael Costello.
Her calling hours will be held on Friday, April 26 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin from 4-7 p.m. with a service in the funeral home at 7:00 p.m.
Burial will be private.
