LIMERICK- Ronald Patrick Lucier, 54, passed away April 15, 2019 in Limerick, ME after suffering a medical incident while driving.
Ronald was born in Meriden, CT at the Veterans Memorial Hospital on May 2, 1964 to Patricia Ruth Hatt and Urban Joseph Lucier.
He attended and graduated from Orville H. Platt High School in Meriden, CT in 1982. He attended Porter & Chester Institute and received a degree in Repairing and Trouble Shooting Computers the following year. He also attended Southern Maine Community College for Machining while working for General Dynamics.
He was a Manufacturing Machinist for the past 35 years. He was a hard working, fun loving, tender hearted man. He genuinely enjoyed working to provide for his family, working many many hours of overtime.
When he wasn't working, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Ron also enjoyed tinkering on vehicles and home improvement.
Ronald was predeceased by his Mother-Patricia Ruth Hatt, Father- Urban Joseph Lucier, and Brother- Joel Wayne Lucier.
He is survived by his loving Wife and Best Friend Michelle Lee Blacha-Lucier of 35 years; sons- Ronald J. Lucier, James M. Lucier, Joshua D. Lucier; daughter- Patricia C. Lucier. grandchildren- Madison M. Westad and Cyrus W. Goodfield; brothers- Carrie Lucier and his wife Diane and their 6 children, Raymond and his wife Julie and their 4 children, Edward Lucier and his 2 daughters; Uncle Leon and his wife Rosemary; along with many cousins from Limerick.
Ronald's service will be held Friday, April 26, 2019 at 11am at the Limerick Free Baptist Church where he attended, with a reception following afterwards. A private burial will be held at a later date.
