Scott France Bishop, Esquire, 48, of Saint Petersburg, Florida, formerly of Decatur, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2019, in Saint Petersburg, Florida of natural causes. A graveside service will be held for Scott at 1:00 p.m., April 20, 2019, at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Born February 11, 1971, Scott was the son of Teresa Woodham Bishop of Saint Petersburg, Florida and the late France Bennett Bishop. Scott received a Juris Doctor degree from Valparaiso University School of Law in Valparaiso, Indiana in 1997 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management from Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta in 1993. Scott practiced law in Georgia for many years. Scott was an avid reader and animal lover, who will be missed dearly by his family. Scott was a brilliant, kind soul with a wonderful sense of humor, who has a mission in heaven.
In addition to his mother, Scott is survived by his fiance', Donna Hall of Saint Petersburg, Florida; and one brother, Glen Bishop of Clearwater, Florida.
