Armand J.L. Croteau, 76, of Londonderry, NH, passed away Wednesday April 10, 2019 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness. Armand was born December 7, 1942 in Lawrence, MA and was a son of the late Henry and Jeanne (Gosslin) Croteau. He was raised and educated in Lawrence, lived in Derry, NH for over 18 years and has been a resident of Londonderry for the past 10 years.
Mr. Croteau served in the U.S. Army and later worked as a project manager with Sanders Associates/BAE in Nashua, NH. Armand was very devout to his Catholic faith and was a longtime communicant of St. Mark the Evangelist Parish in Londonderry, NH. Family was the most important part of Armand’s life and he will forever be remembered for his loving care for his children and grandchildren.
Members of the family include his loving wife of 40 years, Maureen (Sullivan) Croteau, six children and their spouses, John (Tina) Croteau, Tina Marie (John) Martin, Jason (Erin) Croteau, Matthew (Tamara) Croteau, Brian (Dawn) Croteau, Kimberley Croteau and her fiancé, James Burke, 19 grandchildren, Jessica, Kandice, Erica, Sarah Joy, Jonathan, Jocelyn, Justin, Harmony Rose, Jaeylnn, Liana, Jacob Roland, Jacob Patrick, Jared, Cali, Janessa, Annabelle, Ayla, and Brenna, 2 great grandchildren, Skyla and Melody. Armand also leaves behind many brothers and sisters, as he was one of ten children.
Calling hours were held on Sunday, April 14, 2019 from 3 to 6pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday, April 15th at 10:30am at St. Mark the Evangelist Parish, 1 South Road Londonderry. The burial followed in Holy Cross Cemetery in Londonderry.
