Obituary

SALEM- Carolyn M. (Moser) Kingsley, 92, of Richmond, Virginia, formerly of Salem, wife of the late Arthur F. Kingsley, died Monday morning, January 2, 2005 at her home, following a brief illness.

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Edith (Tarleton) Moser.

Prior to her retirement in the 1970's, she was employed at the former Shawmut Merchants Bank in Salem, where she worked for over 20 years.

Mrs. Kingsley was a resident of Salem for most of her life and lived in Peabody and Danvers for a short time before moving to Virginia in 2005. A member of the Tabernacle Congregational Church, UCC, Salem, for over 50 years, she was a member of the Tabernacle Women’s Association. She was also a member of the DAV Ladies Auxiliary.

Mrs. Kingsley is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara & Stanley Doron of Danvers, Linda & Walter Smailus of Mechanicsville, VA, Susan & Thomas Royer of Virginia Beach, VA, 4 grandchildren, Samantha Wuttig and her husband Klaus of Fairbanks, Alaska, Heather Royer of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Melissa Kirk and her husband Christien of Richmond, VA, Pamela Doron of Washington, DC, two great grandchildren and two sisters-in-law. She was the sister of the late John Moser, Roger Moser and Louise Moser.

Her funeral service will be held Friday, January 6, 2006 at 10 am in the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem, with Rev. Laura Biddle, Pastor of the Tabernacle Church, UCC, Salem, officiating. Visiting hours are Thursday, 4 to 8 pm. Burial is in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Donations may be made in her memory to the Memorial Fund of the Tabernacle Church, 50 Washington St., Salem, MA 01970.
