Obituary

Voci, of Brockton, January 2, 2006, Nicholas J. Voci, 84 years. Husband of Dorothy M. (Fullerton) (Williams) Voci, father of Tina N. Voci of Brockton, step father of Steven L. Williams and his wife Michelle of New Jersey, brother of Mary Williams of Taunton, Catherine Madan of Brockton and M. Theresa Dolan of Florida.

Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday at 8am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery. Visiting Hours Wednesday 6-8pm. Donations may be made in his name to the charity of one’s choice or the YMCA Youth Division.

Obituary

Mr. Voci died Monday afternoon at his home under the care of hospice. He was the husband for 46 years of Dorothy M. (Fullerton) (Williams) Voci.
He was born in Philadelphia, PA a son of the late Nicola and Minnie (Celia) Voci. He had been a resident of Brockton for the past 80 years. He was a graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1939. He served in the US Navy during WW II as a radioman 2nd class aboard LST 701 in the Pacific Theater. He received the World War II Victory Medal, American Theatre Operation, Asiatic Pacific Campaign with 3 battle stars. He also received the Philippine Liberation Medal with 1 bronze star, the Navy Occupation service medal and the Asiatic Philippine Presidential Unit citation.
Mr. Voci was a salesman for Sears-Roebuck & Company in Brockton for 38 years, retiring in1991.
He was an avid fisherman and had been a member of the Brockton Y.M.C.A. for over 60 years.
Mr. Voci had been a longtime communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church where he had served as an usher.
In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter Tina N. Voci of Brockton, a step son of Steven L. Williams and his wife Michelle of New Jersey, three sisters Mary Williams of Taunton, Catherine Madan of Brockton and M. Theresa Dolan of Florida. He also leaves three grandchildren and three great grand children and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late George J. Voci
