Paul R. ‘Dick’ Siegmund, 84, passed away Saturday , April 6, 2019 at Harrington Healthcare at Hubbard in Webster.
He leaves his wife of 61 years, Geraldine ‘Geri’ J. (Rothenburg) Siegmund, a son, Paul D. Siegund and his wife Darlene of Webster, a daughter, Karen A. Siegmund of Dudley and a granddaughter, Amie Siegmund.
Dick was born in Webster March 8, 1935 , son of the late Paul E. and Pearl G. (Stone) Siegmund and was raised in Webster and has lived in Dudley since 1967.He was predeceased by a son, Brian K. Siegmund and a brother, Ronald W. Siegmund.
He graduated from Bartlett High School, and attended Nichols College where he took night courses. He then served in the U. S. Coast Guard before being Honorably discharged.
Dick worked at the former American Optical Company for over 30 years and retired. While his children were growing up, he was a little league and lassie league baseball coach for many years.
He enjoyed golfing and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
At his request, there are no calling hours.
Dick’s Funeral Service will be Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 11 AM at Zion Lutheran Church, 70 Main St., Oxford.
