FALL RIVER…. Marguerite C. (Emond) Lovenbury, 95, of Fall River passed away, Friday, April 5, 2019 at Catholic Memorial Home.
She was the wife of the late Arthur Lovenbury.
She was born in Fall River the daughter of the late John and Yvonne (Mandeville) Emond and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
She received her high school diploma from Dominican Academy and graduated from the nursing school from the former Union Hospital. She worked a scrub nurse for Dr. Dan Mooney and went on to work as a school nurse in the Fall River school system retiring in 1985.
She enjoyed going for walks, going to the movies, crossword puzzles, going out to eat, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include a son Daniel Lovenbury and his wife Arlene of Fall River, 4 grandchildren Scott, Brian, Daniel Jr., Karen, 3 great grandchildren: Bridget, Audrey, and Kassidy.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday at 9A.M. from the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M., at St. Joseph’s Church, 1335 N. Main Street, Fall River. Interment will be private. Calling hours will be Monday from 5 – 7 P.M.
