Patricia “Patsy” Ann Cantrell, 71, of Fitzgerald, died Friday, April 5, 2019 at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald.
Funeral services will be held 11AM, Monday, April 8, 2019 at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald with Minister Michael Lamb officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6PM until 8PM at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Ms. Cantrell was born July 6, 1947, in Ben Hill County, Georgia to the late Rufus & Lonell Coleman Musslewhite. Patsy didn’t have any children. Her 17 nephews and 18 nieces were her children. She loved each and everyone of them. Patsy was retired. Her hobby was knitting and sewing. She made hats, scarves and gloves to share with everybody. She also made blankets for all the great-great-nephews and nieces. Patsy will be missed as much as she was loved. She was a member of The Fitzgerald Church of Christ.
She is survived by her sister, Jessie Griffin of Fitzgerald and her beloved dog, Riley; 17 nephews, 18 nieces and a host of other family members. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald Musslewhite, Phillip Musslewhite, and a sister, Glenda Musslewhite.
