Warren S. Cresswell, Jr., of Brewster, Massachusetts, formerly of New York City, New York, passed away and went into the light on April 2, 2019.
He is survived by his son, Brian Modin and his daughter-in-law, Karen Modin, their children, Madison Modin, Malea Modin and Nicole Modin, and his brother’s widow, Harriet Hobbs Cresswell. His brother, Travis H. Cresswell, predeceased him in 2007. His father, Warren S. Cresswell, Sr., predeceased him in 1984 and his mother, Gloria H. Cresswell, predeceased him in 1994.
Warren was born in New York and grew up in Monson, Massachusetts, where he graduated from Monson Academy and later attended Mitchell College and New York University. A Fine Art and Old Masters Art expert, Warren was a former Vice-President of Christie’s East Auction House in New York City, and traveled the world acquiring fine art for his clients and investors.
Per Warren’s wishes, a private graveside service will be held in Truro at the New South Cemetery on Monday, April 8, 2019.
