Kathleen M "Kathy" Hersey (Hines) 69 of Whitman, formally of Dorchester, passed away April 4th surrounded by her family after a lengthy illness.
Beloved wife of Frederick W Hersey of Whitman. Beloved mother of Timothy Hazelton and his wife Coby of South Weymouth, Michael Hazelton and his fiancé Jean of Whitman, June Kelly and her husband Stephen of Stoughton, Richard Hazelton and his longtime girlfriend Paula of Rhode Island. Beloved Grandmother of Timothy Hazelton and his wife Jackie of Middleboro. Michael Hazelton his girlfriend McKayla of Whitman, Christopher Hazelton of Whitman, Colin and Stephen Kelly of Stoughton and the devoted Great Grandmother of Aria Hazelton of Whitman.
Kathy was the first of 10 children born to the late Joseph "joe" Hines and the late Eileen "Leenie" Hines of Dorchester. She is survived by her loving sisters and brothers Joanne Sterite of Bridgewater, Stephen Hines of Marshfield, John Hines of Quincy, Amy Higgins of Franklin, Daniel Hines of Cambridge, Joseph Hines of Whitman, Elizabeth "Betsey" Race of Whitman, Theresa Hines of Rockland, Virginia "Ginny" Cushing of Plymouth. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Her visitation will be held on Tuesday April 9th from 4:00-8:00PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman. All other services are omitted by the family’s request.
