Kenneth Lee "Kenny" Epperly, Sr., 84, of Anderson, went to be with the Lord on March 29, 2019 at Community Hospital following a brief illness.
Kenny was born on February 4, 1935 in Moberly, Missouri the son of William H. Epperly Sr. and Viola Marie (Smith) Epperly.
He worked at Guide Lamp for 35 years as a Semi-Driver and retired in 1985.
He served in the US Air Force. He was a member of Elm Grove Christian Church. He loved fishing, I U, Pacers, Colts, and doing yard work.
He is survived by his son, Kenneth Epperly, Jr. of Murfreesboro, Arkansas and daughter, Kathy Moreland of Anderson; special daughter, Holly Conover of Middletown; 8 grandchildren, Joshua, Wayne, Patrick Jr., Amanda, Gary, Kayla, and Natasha; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild, Donovan Epperly; 2 great-great-great grandchildren; 1 brother, Al (Janet) Epperly of Anderson; 2 sisters, Joyce (Marvin) Short of Anderson and Bertha Wood of Harrisburg, PA; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Freda Epperly; a son, Mark Epperly and 3 brothers, William H. Epperly, Jr., James B. Epperly, and Charlie Epperly.
Service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Elm Grove Christian Church with Pastor Mike Whiteman officiating. The burial will take place at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery where military rites will be conducted.
Visitation will be on Monday, April 1, 2019 from 6:00-8:00pm at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
Memorial contributions may be given to Elm Grove Christian Church.
