Rita M. Gagnon, age 58, formerly of Swansea, sadly passed away on Thursday March 21, 2019 surrounded by her loved ones. She was the first born daughter of the late Kenneth L. Gagnon Sr. and Margaret (Mathias) Gagnon, Rita was a fun loving, caring, unique woman who had a way to leave an unforgettable and genuine mark on each heart she came across in her lifetime. She possessed a contagious laugh that always brought joy to those around her. Rita was a lover of live music, long beach days, family gatherings and making memories with all those who were close to her. She will be forever missed but never forgotten. Her memory and love will always be alive in our hearts.
She is survived by her daughter: Nicole Vasconcellos (fiancé Barry Bannister), sister: Michelle A. Drapeau, lifelong dearest friend Linda M. Silva (husband Dee), granddaughter: Olivia M. Vasoncellos, grandchildren by heart Cassidy R., Brandon R, and Brady M. Bannister, godchildren: Aislynne N. Venancio and Amanda M. Drapeau, nephews: Kenneth L. Gagnon Jr., Nathan E. Silvaand Jeffrey T. Portela, nieces: Ashley V. Borges, and Alysha C. Drapeau. Shew was also the loving sister of the late Kenneth L. Gagnon II and Katherine A. Gagnon, and fiancé of the late Allen J. Quintal .
