Wayne Lamar Smith, 58, of Pelham passed away Friday, March 22, 2019, at his residence. A graveside service will be held for Mr. Smith at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2019, at Old Ty Ty Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest. Raymond Shoaf will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 30, 2019, from 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Smith’s family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Born October 2, 1960 in Miami, Florida, Mr. Smith was the son of the late Homer Lloyd Smith and Nera Dubberly Turner. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Teressa Graham. He worked in construction and was of the Baptist faith. He loved to fish and he had a big heart.
Mr. Smith is survived by three brothers, Lloyd Kenneth Smith of Palm Bay, Florida, Steven Smith of Ocilla and William Graham; and one sister, Joretta Magri of Massachusetts.
