Patricia Gail Turner Rutland, 65, Sycamore, formerly of Addison, Alabama passed away Sunday, March 24, 2019, at her son’s residence. A graveside service will be held for Ms. Rutland at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2019, at Oak Ridge Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest. The Rev. Donnie Duncan will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 27, 2019, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Greg Turner, Kyle Turner, Matt Turner, Zach Goodman, Brandon Goodman and Derick Rutland will serve as pallbearers.
Born March 13, 1954 in Tift County, Ms. Rutland was the daughter of the late Cecil Turner and Dorothy Goodman Turner. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Wallace Turner; and two sisters, Paulette Watts and Sandra Kay Turner. She worked as a salesperson of mobile homes at Ray’s Mobile Homes and was of the Baptist faith. She loved her family; loved fishing and yard saling for antiques. She loved antiques and owned Gail’s Antiques in Tifton on Main Street.
Ms. Rutland is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Stacy and Linda Rutland of Tifton, Cecil Eric and Celeste Rutland of Sycamore and Marcus Rutland and Gabby King of Double Springs, Alabama; an honorary child, Mike Turner; three grandchildren, Derick Rutland and his wife Harlee, Tristen Rutland and Aybree King; an honorary grandchild, Ty Turner; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
