Sharon Wynn Marsh, 44, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Saturday, March 23, 2019, at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Dr. Richard Wright and the Rev. B.J. Funk officiating. Angela Greene and Courtney Powell will give eulogies. Sharon will be interred at Evergreen Cemetery beside her Mema, Mary Alice Wynn, with whom she had a very special bond. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Sharon was born August 10, 1974, in Fitzgerald, Georgia to Ed Wynn and Vickie Tyler Davis. She was a 1993 graduate of Fitzgerald High School and earned an Associates degree in nursing from South Georgia College in Douglas. She worked as a CNA at Life Care Center and spent most of her career as a Registered Nurse working Labor and Delivery at Tift Regional Medical Center, Dorminy Medical Center, and Irwin County Hospital. She also worked in the Emergency Department. Sharon helped to bring life to lots of babies throughout her career. Her twin girls were her life and she enjoyed dancing and laughing with them. She liked to watch Criminal Minds on television and spend time with her family and her Yorkie, Ellie Kate.
She is survived by her husband, Wesley Marsh of Fitzgerald; her twin daughters: Ragan Reynolds and Riley Reynolds and their father, Ricky Reynolds, Jr., all of Fitzgerald; step-children: Madeline Marsh of Valdosta and Andrew Marsh, USMC, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri; father, Ed & Lena Wynn of Fitzgerald; mother, Vickie & Levern Davis of LaGrange; grandmother, Doris Tyler of LaGrange; siblings: Sandi Elaine Freeman & Sam of LaGrange, Courtney Leigh Powell & Wes of LaGrange, Dustin Edward Wynn & Hannah of Fitzgerald, and Traci Dene Jenkins & Devin of Fitzgerald; brothers-in-law, Plyde Marsh, Jr. & Terry of Macon and Johnny Marsh & Martha of Fitzgerald; and aunts and uncles: Carole Linker & Larry, Janice Usry & Lyle, and Frank Tyler & Carol. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Alvin Wynn, Mary Alice Wynn, and Paul Tyler.
