Obituary

Anna (Franciose) Guglielmi, of Medford, formerly of Boston's North End, passed away on Saturday, March 23rd. She was 81. Born and raised in Pettorano Sul gizio, Italy. She was the daughter of the late Domenic and Ermelinda (DiPietro) Franciose.

Anna loved to spend time with her family. She especially loved being around and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandson. Anna's family were her pride and joy, they were her world. She enjoyed cooking and everything was made from scratch and was to known to be delicious.

When Anna was not spending time with her family you could find her in her garden. She had a natural green thumb, all flowers and veggies were constantly blooming and growing. A talented seamstress, Anna enjoyed creating clothing, drapes and linens. Anna was a dedicated wife, a great mom, loving grandmother and great-grandmother, friend and neighbor. She will be greatly missed.

Anna was the beloved wife of Giovanni Guglielmi. She was the devoted mother of John Guglielmi and his wife Jackie and Linda Vigorito, all of Stoneham. She was the loving grandmother of Nicholas, Jaclyn, Micaela, Alessia and Giovanni, III, and the great-grandmother of Paul Thomas Amicangelo, III. She was the dear sister of Angelo Franciose. She is also survived by many loving family members and friends in the United States and in Italy.

Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Saturday, March 30th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 - 8 PM. Services will conclude with entombment at Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum, Everett.
