Sandra Louise Sasser, 66, of Doerun, died Saturday, March 23, 2019 at her son’s residence in Ocilla, Georgia.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Ms. Sasser was born January 17, 1953, in Tifton, Georgia to the late George and Ophelia Treadwell Hanson. She received her nursing diploma from Ben Hill-Irwin Tech. She loved reading, and planting flowers. Most of all, Ms. Sasser was a nurturer to others, always wanting to take care of others.
She is survived by her children, Chris Estes & Suzanna of Ocilla, and Candi Jackowski & Robert of Tampa, Florida; grandchildren, Aaron Estes & Holly, Ayda Estes and Cassi Jackowski; sisters, Sylvia Nelson of Sylvester, and Nancy Palmer of Fort Myers, Florida; brothers, Aubrey Hanson & Nancy of Zebulon, Johnny Hanson & Linda of Doerun, and Kenny Hanson of Doerun. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Sasser, brothers, Buddy Hanson, Larry Hanson, Ted Hanson, Wayne Hanson, and Donnel Hanson.
