Jimmy Lee Little, 79, of Ashburn passed away Saturday, March 23, 2019 at the Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia in Tifton.
Jimmy was born on December 5, 1939 in Turner County to the late James Washington and Audrey Carr Little. He faithfully attended First Baptist Church of Ashburn. He retired from the Federal State Inspection Service after 34 years. He was also the former owner and operator of Little Lawn Care.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Hall Little of Ashburn; son, Glenn Keith Little of Coolidge; daughters, Brenda Waller of Sycamore, Ginger (Kevin) Wisham of Greenwood, South Carolina and Nancy Little (Kevin) Long of Piedmont, South Carolina; step-sons, Robert (Debbie) Padgett of Chula, Zim (Marilyn) Padgett of Gainesville, Florida, Steve (Audrey) Padgett of Gainesville, Florida, Tommy (Sandy) Padgett of Nashville, Tennessee and Frank (Jolie) Britt of Statesboro; step-daughter, Diane (Allen) Head of Newnan; grandchildren, Tony (Shelby) Wood of Vienna, Brittany (Sean) Gable, Austin Wisham, Cheyenne Little, Channing Locklear, Seth Porter and Allen Williams; great-grandchildren, Kayana Locklear, Skye Gable, Allie Gable, Haley Gable, Kaylee Mae Williams, Jaxson Porter and Cecelia Wood. He is also survived by numerous step- grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Carolyn Hall Little.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, March 25, 2019 at the Ashburn First Baptist Church with interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends beginning at 10:00 AM until the hour of services at the church.
