Marshall Marlow Mooney, III, 54, of Shanna Drive in Tifton died Tuesday, January 2, 2006 at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Danny Ray will officiate with burial to follow in Tift Memorial Gardens with full military honors. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, January 4, 2006 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson.
Mr. Mooney was born on April 13, 1951 in Tifton and is the son of Marshall and Norma Mooney, II of Donalsonville and Johnnie Will Wilcox of Tifton. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force and had lived in Tifton for 14 years.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Mooney is survived by 3 sisters, Brenda G. Tirado of Tifton, Donna Harrison of Climax and Marilyn Craft of Donalsonville; nieces and nephews, Kristie Chandler of Tifton, Melisa Sargent of Tifton, Jamie Swanner, Jeffrey Swanner, Courtney Nunley and Corey Mercer, all of Donalsonville.
