Donna M. (Pino) Deranian passed away peacefully in the company of her loving family. She was 68. Raised in Medford she was the daughter of the late Anthony J. and Ursula M. (Ruocco) Pino. Donna graduated from Marycliff Academy in Winchester and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Art from Suffolk University. Donna worked as a social worker with the CETA Program in Medford for several years. She worked many years with her husband in operating their business, Deran Lamp and Shade Company in Watertown. Most of all, Donna was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who focused on spending time with her family. She raised her children with love and supported her loving husband in all his endeavors. Donna looked forward to spending time on the Cape especially on the beach with family and friends. She was a proud grandmother who loved every minute with her grandchildren.
The beloved wife of the late Haig K. Deranian who passed away in 2017, Donna was a devoted mother to Gregory Deranian and his wife Adrianne of Wayland, Jason Deranian and his wife Jen of Belmont, and Jennifer Granfield and her husband Mossey of Quincy. She was a loving grandmother to Nicholas, Christian, Sam, Sophia, and Sebastian. The dear sister of Angela Donahue of Medford, Ursula Gates of Maine and Ann Marie Pino of New Hampshire, she also leaves her nieces and nephews.
Donna’s funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Friday March 22nd at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Luke Church, 132 Lexington St., Belmont, at 10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Watertown.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family on Thursday 4 - 8 PM.
