Marie R. (Monaco) Connerty of Stoneham died on Saturday, March 16. Born and raised in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Rosina (Giglio) Monaco. Marie has been a Stoneham resident for the past 50 years.
Marie was the beloved wife of the late James E. Connerty III, and the devoted mother of Michael Connerty and his fiancée Michelle Brody, and Frank Connerty, all of Stoneham. She was the loving grandmother of Michael Connerty Jr. and his wife Kayla of Swampscott, and Ashley Connerty and her husband Max Pilsmaker of Byfield. Marie was the Loving great grandmother of Mason, Thea, Quinn and Riley Mae, and dear sister of the late Gerald Monaco and his wife Nancy, and Joseph A. Monaco and his wife Thelma. She was the sister-in-law of Edward Connerty and his wife Alice of Norwell, the late Elinor Theriault and her husband Roger, and the late Raymond Connerty and his wife Marcia. Marie was the cherished daughter-in-law of the late James Connerty Jr. and Grace (Keefe) Connerty, and loving aunt of the late Paul and Richard Theriault. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Friday, March 22 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday, March 21 from 4 through 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
