Rival E. Gauvin, 78, of Salem, NH died Saturday at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Boston, MA.
He was born in New Brunswick, Canada where he grew up and was educated. He had lived in Salem for 13 years, previously residing in Lawrence, MA. He worked for Mann Orchards in Methuen, MA as a delivery man for over 30 years. He was a member of Mary Queen of Peace Church in Salem, NH. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and wrestling.
He was pre-deceased by a son Richard Gauvin.

A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday at 10AM at Mary Queen of Peace Church in Salem, NH. Cremation will follow.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 3-5 & 7-9PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
