Florence Kathleen “Kathy” (Sullivan) Goss, 76 of Whitman, formerly of Dorchester MA, died at Beth Israel, Boston on Friday, March 15th after a period of failing health.
Daughter to Richard P. Sullivan and Florence (Sullivan) Kelcourse.
Born and raised in Dorchester, she was an alumna of Fontbonne Academy, where she was a member of one of the first graduating classes. Retiree of the United States Census Bureau.
Devoted mother of Michelle Kelley and husband Thomas of Walpole, Tammy McMullen and husband Brian of Hanover, David Goss of Dorchester, Kristine Swan and husband David of Whitman, and Gia Rose and husband Phil of Whitman. Also survived by 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, and siblings Richard Sullivan of Nashua, NH, Paul Sullivan of Southborough, and Margaret Silvia of Brockton.
Her services will be held Thursday March 21 at 8:15 AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman, followed by a funeral Mass at 9:00 AM in the Holy Ghost Church, Whitman. Visiting hours will be Wednesday March 20 from 4:00-7:00 PM.
