David Joseph Labonte 29, of Millis, died peacefully, in the comfort of his family, Thursday March 14, 2019 at UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, following a brave and courageous battle.
Born February 14, 1990 in Worcester, a son of Cheryl A. (Minney) Labonte and her spouse Lisa J. Hardin of Millis and Rene J. Labonte of Norfolk, he was raised in Wrentham and was a graduate of King Philip Regional High School in Wrentham. David was currently the creative director for the online magazine RE_Kin.
David was passionate about playing the guitar, drums and singing. He was an avid snowboarder and skiier and enjoyed hiking. He was also devoted to his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers, William J. Labonte of Worcester, Andrew M. Labonte of Millis, Brian D. Labonte and his wife Dana of California, Christopher P. Labonte of Norfolk, grandmother Jean Labonte of Norfolk, aunt Denise Labonte of Ludlow, his cherished nieces & nephews, Logan, Sophie, Greyson and Rowan Labonte, close family friend Tony Phengdara and his dog Maddie May.
He was the grandson of the late Ralph & Beverly Minney and Normand Labonte.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours on Monday March 18th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 91 Jordan Road, Franklin, from 4-6 PM.
A funeral service will follow at 7 PM.
His interment will be held privately.
