Obituary

David Rogers "Rod Doctor" Kinnaman, 74, of Alexandria, died Wednesday March 13, 2019 at his residence after a battle with cancer.
David was born June 2, 1944 in Lapel, the son of Howard Eugene and Thelma May (Jackson) Kinnaman. He graduated from Lapel High School in 1962 and served in the United States Army.
He was self employed as a car restorer operating Kinnaman's Kustom Kars from 1980 through 2017. He was a member of Indiana Street Rod Association, Modern Antiques Car Club, Model A Car Club and K.K.O.A. He enjoyed custom cars, car shows and spending time with his family. He attended East Side Church of God.
David is survived by his wife, Vickie (Pool) Kinnaman of Alexandria; his children; Lisa (Jim) Watters, of Elwood, Laura (Kerry) Bellamy of Elwood, Cynthia Mullins of Anderson; two brothers, Edgar (Deborah) Kinnaman of Noblesville, Kirk (Marla) Kinnaman of Pendleton; two sisters, Karen Tacchi and Danna Kinnaman both of Oregon; four grandchildren, Tyler (Morgan) Mullins, Zachary (Sophie) Mullins, Brooklyn Mullins and Nicolas Mullins; three great grandchildren, Leighton Mullins, Deliah Mullins and Walker Mullins; and several nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dennis Kinnaman.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at East Side Church of God with Dr. Kerry Robinson and Rev. Don Schlafer officiating. Burial will be at Saunders Cemetery in Daleville.
Visitation will be from 4- 8 p.m. on Friday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m. at the church.
Memorial contributions may be given to American Cancer Society.
