Lillian L. (Sheehan) Curran “GG” 91, died Tuesday March 12, in her Abington home, surrounded by her loving family, after a period of failing health. She was the loved wife of the late Edward J. Curran.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Lillian (Radcliffe) Sheehan and a graduate of Dorchester High School.
Until the age of eighty-eight, Lillian had taught countless classes as the owner & operator of “Lils Ceramics”.
Lil cherished the summers spent at her pool surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had truly enjoyed the holidays and especially loved her Christmas Eve gatherings.
She is survived by her children Kathleen (Curran) Roman and her husband Lawrence of Whitman, Edward J. Curran, Jr. of Manomet, Theresa (Curran) Minnehan and her husband Gary of Abington, Carolyn (Curran) Robison of Quincy and Mary Ann (Curran) Dann and her husband David of Abington as well as sixteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Frederick Sheehan of Yarmouth, Paul Sheehan of Whitman, Joseph Sheehan of Abington and Donald Sheehan of Weymouth, and many nieces, nephews, her sisters-in-law and her good neighbors.. She was mother-in-law of the late Kenneth Robison.

Her funeral services will be held Monday March 18 at 8:15 AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman, followed by a funeral Mass at 9:00 AM in St. Bridget Church, Abington. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Rockland. Visiting hours will be on Sunday March 17 from 4:00-7:00 PM.
