Carolyn joined the United States Army following her high school graduation. She wanted to serve her country and make her family proud. She met the love of her life in New Jersey then wed in 1981. She had two beautiful daughters, which she loved very much. Carolyn was full of spirit and spoke her mind never missing a beat. She was like "sunshine" and could light a room. She enjoyed gardening, bingo, and her daily 3's (she was hoping to win her dad a new fishing boat). She loved helping the homeless and had many friends at the VA Hospital. She loved her family near and far. She was planning a trip to Georgia and Indiana to visit her daughters and grandchildren this year. Carolyn loved God and attended church regularly with her sister and brother-in-law. She spent her last years helping to care for her mother and father.
