Anthony “Tony” Joseph Natale, 75, of Hanson passed away peacefully Sunday, March 10, 2019, surrounded by family. Born June 12, 1943, in Springfield, he was the son of the late Anthony P. and Victoria (Durant) Natale.
He was a graduate of Agawam High School, and later Saint Michael’s College. Tony worked at Sears and Roebuck for many years and was a member of the Hanson Athletic Association.
As an avid sports enthusiast, he enjoyed watching all his Boston teams with NASCAR becoming one of his favorites in the later years. He often played cards, especially cribbage, and loved playing computer games against his sister-in-law, Kathy. He relished his summers in Cape Cod with Betty and friends and spending time with his family.
Tony was predeceased by his wife Pauline (Authier) Natale. He is survived by his longtime love Elizabeth Lane of Hanson, MA as well as his son Anthony J. Natale Jr. and his wife Stacy of Foxborough, MA, stepson Marc Lane and wife Stacey of Mattapoisett, MA, and stepson Kevin Lane of Altamonte Springs, FL. and brother Michael J. Natale and wife Kathleen of Agawam, MA. Tony is also survived by his grandchildren Dominic, Paxton, Abigail, Benjamin, Ethan, Trevor and Alden as well as nephew Michael J. Natale, Jr. and his wife Katey of Feeding Hills, MA, and niece Susan Natale of Agawam, MA.
His funeral services will be held on Friday March15th at 10:00AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St. (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman, followed by a funeral mass at 11:00AM in the St. Joseph the Worker Church, Hanson. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00-7:00PM.
