TILTON-----Robert "Gus" Peter Dascoulias, 90, passed away at his home in Tilton on Tuesday, March 5, 2019.
Robert was born on February 12, 1929, in Northfield the son of the late Peter and Katherine (Spitzner) Dascoulias.
Robert proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII. He worked as a postal carrier for many years and also spent his time with the Laconia VFW, American Legion and Elks Lodge.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Betty (Johnson) Dascoulias, his son Robert "Gus" A. Dascoulias and his wife Gail, daughter Jan L. Gilbert and a Brother-In-Law Robert Johnson and his wife Rebecca. Robert also leaves behind four grandchildren, Beth Gilbert, Ben Gilbert, David Dascoulias and Joseph Dascoulias and his wife Kristine, five great-grandchildren, Dillon, Tyler, Derek, Evan and Sage along with many other extended family members and dear friends.
A graveside service will take place in the spring at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
