Ann W. Ryder, 90, of Berlin, passed away Wednesday March 6, 2019 at the Coos County Nursing Home in Berlin. She was born on March 17, 1928, the daughter of the late Edgar and Maude (Reynolds) Wentworth and was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a graduate Berlin High School and was employed as a Computer Operator at the James River Corp for 44 years. A member of the Berlin Congregational Church, she enjoyed jazz music, knitting, crossword puzzles and spending time with her “granddog’s” Jake and Jasper.
Members of the family include her son Jon Ryder and wife Cindy of Berlin; her brother’s children Carol Bickford of Merietta, GA, Warren “Jim” Wentworth of Ludlow, Ma and David Wentworth of Enfield, CT as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband George W. Ryder in 1973 and her brother Warren Wentworth and his wife Anne.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Saturday March 16, 2019 at 11 AM. Interment will be in the Lary Cemetery, Gorham. Friends and relatives are invited to call at the funeral home on Saturday March 16 from 10-11 AM, prior to the service.
