Angela V. (Imperato) Buono, of Stoneham, formerly of Medford and Boston's North End, passed away on Wednesday, March 6th. Born and raised in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Michael and the Lena (Piccarello) Imperato.
Angela loved to spend time with her family. She especially loved her grandchildren, they were her world. She enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren during all the stages of their life and would frequently take them along with Carl on road trips down to Florida. When Angela was not spending time with her family she enjoyed creating crafts and socializing with her fellow residents at the Bear Hill Nursing Center.
Angela was the beloved wife of the late Carl J. Buono. She was the devoted mother of Linda Buono, Paul Buono and his wife Janet and David Buono and his wife Paula. She was the loving Nana of Kevin Cunniff and his wife Christina, PJ Cunniff and his wife Michelle, DJ Buono and Carli Buono and the great-nana of Braden and Riley Cunniff. She was the dear sister of Arlene Buono and her late husband Phillip and the late Milly Cuccinotta. Angela is also survived by many loving family members and friends.
A funeral service will be celebrated in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Friday, March 15th at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 10 to 11 AM. Services will conclude with inurnment at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
