Jeff C. Hair, 55, of Oakwood, Georgia, died Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Saturday, March 9, 2019, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. B.J. Funk officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
Mr. Hair was born March 19, 1963, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to Margaret Warbington Hair & the late Joe F. Hair. He was a 1981 graduate of Fitzgerald High School. While in high school, Mr. Hair played football and baseball, was on the wrestling team, and ran track. After graduation, he played DLS softball. He was a football referee for almost 20 years and served as President of the Gold Leaf Association. After retiring, he moved to Oakwood four years ago. Mr. Hair loved to grill and was an avid NASCAR and Georgia Bulldog fan. He was a devoted husband and father and always put his family first.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years: Donna Ivemeyer Hair of Oakwood; children: Brittani Elizabeth Walker of Tifton and Payton Daniel Walker of La Porte, Texas; his mother: Margaret Hair Hall & Robert of Fitzgerald; and a brother, Dr. Joe F. Hair & Diana of Marietta.
