…former supervisor at Quest Diagnostics; 58
TEWKSBURY - Charles Henry “Charlie” Kinch, age 58, a former Everett resident, died peacefully on Monday, March 4, at Mass General Hospital, with family and friends at his bedside, after a sudden illness.
He was born in Everett, one of seven children of the late William Joseph and Anna Marie (Regan) Kinch, and raised in Everett, where he graduated from Everett High School with the Class of 1979. He lived in Florida, New Hampshire, and Peabody, Massachusetts before moving to Tewksbury five years ago. He is predeceased by sister Eileen Palladino and brother William Joseph Kinch Jr.
Charlie will be missed and remembered for his contagious laugh, quick wit, mischievous look in his eyes, generous spirit, loving nature, positive attitude, big heart, steadfast loyalty and support of family and friends.
He worked in the role of Supervisor in the medical laboratories of Quest Diagnostics until three years ago. Charlie was an avid golfer, enjoyed traveling with family - especially with his sisters, and enjoyed watching all of Boston’s professional sports teams. He will be dearly missed by his family and numerous friends he acquired during his short life.
He leaves four siblings, Maureen Kinch of Davie, FL, Karen Griffin of Weymouth, Peter Kinch of Norwell, Annamarie Kinch of Davie, FL; brother-in-law, Ira “Lee” Griffin of Weymouth; brother-in-law, Michael Palladino of Peabody; sister-in-law, Sheila Muldoon Kinch of Whitman, MA; cousins, many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews; and his much loved dog companion, ZuZu.
Visiting hours Sunday, March 10, from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey and 975 Main Sts. (Rte. 38) TEWKSBURY CENTER, Ph. (800 in MA or 978) 851 2950. His funeral will begin Monday, March 11, at 10:30 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. in St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St. (Rte. 38) Tewksbury.
