Hugh F. Carroll, of Malden, October 17th. Beloved son of the late Patrick and Julia (O’Shea) Carroll. Brother of Mary Toomey of Woburn and the late Eileen Arsenault and Patrick Carroll. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Hugh was a longtime resident of Malden. He is a graduate of St. Catherine of Sienna Grammar School in Charlestown and Christopher Columbus High School in Boston. He worked for the S.S. Pierce Company in Boston for several years. He also worked for the Martignetti Company. Hugh was a communicant and usher at Sacred Heart Parish in Malden for most of his life. Relatives & friends are invited to attend his funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Tuesday October 23rd at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 10 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Forest Dale Cemetery in Malden. Visitation will be held prior to the Mass on Tuesday only.
