Obituary

Lorenzo J. Freccero, of Medford, formerly of West End Boston, passed away on October 21st surrounded by his loving family. Son of the late Giuseppe Freccero and Marietta (Bagatti) of Genoa, Italy. Beloved husband of the late Rose (Arena) Freccero. Loving father of Richard Freccero and his wife Judith of East Longmeadow, Debra Slaney and her husband Lenny of Raleigh, NC and Nanci Angelini and her husband Joe of Reading. Dear brother of Robert Freccero and his wife Patricia of North Reading and the late Katherine Kawa, Lillian Maraccini, Joseph and Rita Freccero. Cherished grandfather of 7 loving grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and his late grandson Alex. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, special friend Camille and many other special friends. Lorenzo was raised and educated in the West End of Boston. For over 50 years, he was Vice President of Sales for Process Engineering in Plaistow, NH. He was also a dance instructor for the Arthur Murray dance studio. Lorenzo was an owner and breeder of greyhound dogs. He was a member of the National Greyhound Association, the Moose Lodge in Malden, the Retired Mens Club of Arlington and the Italian American Citizens Club in Malden. He enjoyed dancing, reading, cooking, traveling and spending time with his loving family, especially summer vacations in York Beach Maine. Relatives & friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Saturday October 27th from 8-9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 10 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to The Seeing Eye, Inc., 10 Washington Valley Rd., Morristown, NJ 07960.
