FALL RIVER – Louis B. DaCosta, age 71 of Fall River, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Sao Miguel, Acores, Louis was the son of the late Antonio & Maria (Martins) DaCosta and the beloved husband of Gail (Golden) DaCosta. Prior to retiring, Louis worked in Construction for the Laborer’s Union Local 610.
In addition to his wife of Fall River, Louis is survived by his children: Casey Mills of Woonsocket, RI and Sean DaCosta of Florida; siblings: Manuel DaCosta & Antone DeCosta both of Somerset, and Theresa Cartin of Mass.; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; nieces & nephews. Louis was also the brother of the late Gloria Souza and Joseph DaCosta.
Calling hours for Louis will take place in the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Wednesday, March 6, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. with a service here at 5:30 P.M. Cremation to Follow.
