Barbara Ann Cuzziere (Oleson) passed away peacefully at her home in the company of her loving family. She was 83. Born and raised in Cambridge she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Stella (Sottile) Oleson. A loving and kind person, Barbara worked for many years in the publishing industry and retired as a book keeper from McGraw-Hill Publishers. She later worked with local hospice serving the needs of patients and supporting them until their end. Barbara also gave her time participating in the Big Brother-Big Sister Program. A Medford resident for over 20 years, she was truly devoted to her family and friends.
The loving mother of Ellen Giannelli and her husband Michael of Stoneham, Donna Baldassari of Winthrop, Michael Cuzziere of Malden, Linda Grubb and her husband Don of Medford, and the late David Cuzziere, she also leaves her beloved grandchildren: Mark Baldassari, Jr., Michael and Erica Giannelli, Jayson LaRiviere, Cameron and Gillian Grubb and the late David Cuzziere. Barbara is also survived by her three great-grandchildren Markis, Ariana and Nico Baldassari and her dear sister Estelle Robinson and the late Richard Oleson. She is also survived by many dear nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford on Monday from 4 thru 8 PM and may gather Tuesday morning, March 5, at 8:30 AM for a procession to St. Raphael Church, 512 High St. Medford with a Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 9:30 AM. Burial will be private.
