Enedina "Nina" Arana Valdivia, of Santa Paula, California, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at her home in Santa Paula, California. Enedina was born in Jalisco, Mexico to Justino Valdivia and Carmen Aceves. She grew up with her siblings, Anarbol, Ismale, Celia, Elisa, and Sirenia. She moved to Santa Paula in 1966 after marrying Ruben Arana. Briefly moving to Cabrillo Village in 1981, Enedina and her family returned to Santa Paula in 2006.
Enedina will be remembered for her laughter, great sense of humor, and her kindness. She loved to cook. She always kept her kitchen warm by feeding any and everyone that visited her house. To know her was to know love, compassion, forgiveness, and her contagious laughter. In fact, she is probably going to make the Lord laugh all day with all of the jokes she would tell. She always greeted everybody with a hug, a kiss, and a big smile.
Enedina is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ruben, and her children: Ruben(Herlinda), Eduardo(Rosa), Jaime(Jeannie), Ana (Erasmo), Irene, Eva (Arturo), Lorena (Keith), and Carmen (Jon), fifteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, as well as numerous relatives and many friends and family pets (Puggy, Hank, Einstein). She is preceded in death by her sister, Sirenia Valdivia.
