Pamela Carolyn Ellerbee Barrett, 47, of Tifton passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2019, at New River Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Layfield and the Rev. Michael Marchant officiating. Mrs. Barrett will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, March 1, 2019, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Derick Henderson, Jamy Henderson, Bret Henderson, Cliff Henderson, Allen Johnston, Tahl Barrett, Kip Martin and Ricky Justice will serve as pallbearers.
Born December 17, 1971 in Tifton, Mrs. Barrett was the daughter of Carolyn Henderson Ellerbee of Tifton and the late Felton Ellerbee. She was employed by the City of Tifton in the Payroll Department and she was a member of New River Baptist Church.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. Barrett is survived by her husband, James “Wade” Barrett of Tifton; one son, Gage Barrett of Tifton; and two brothers, Phil Ellerbee of Richmond, Virginia and David Ellerbee of Tifton.
