Manuel L. DeSilva, 64, of Westwood Manor Drive, in Warwick, died Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence.
Born in Graciosa, Azores, he was a son of the late Manuel and Luzia “Lucy” (Athaide) DeSilva.
Manny was a self-employed contractor for many years at his company, M.L. DeSilva and Sons Construction.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, boating, music and riding motorcyles.
He is survived by his four sons: Jeffrey DeSilva and his wife, Sherri of Warwick, James DeSilva of Glocester, Jay DeSilva and his wife, Andrea of Scituate, Justin DeSilva of Mendon, MA, his seven grandchildren, his sons' mother, Mary Ann LeToile of Blackstone, MA and his brothers: Leo Silva of Port St. Lucie, FL and Robert DeSilva of Johnston. He was the brother of the late Henry M. Silva and Alice Cancelliere.
His funeral service will be held Tuesday evening, March 5th at 6:30pm in Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 4-6:30pm.
