LAUMANN, Robert J. Of Dedham, February 26, 2019. Beloved husband of Mary F. (Regan) Laumann for 64 years. Devoted father of Kenneth J. and his wife Dorothy, Kevin F. and his companion Kelly, Robert P. and his fiancé Lisa, John P. and his wife Mourine and Brian J. Laumann and his wife Trixie. Grandfather of Chasily Abcunas and her husband Kevin, Kimberly Ubele, Kayla Heinrichs and her husband Michael, Kerri Jordan, Brian Jr., Meredith and Joseph Laumann, and Emma O’Brien. Great-grandfather of Shaun and Ryder Jordan, Stella and Adeline Abcunas, Sean and McKenna Ubele, and Hailey.
Bob was born in St. Peter, MN to his parents Clarence and Margaret Laumann. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1950-1954. He graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology and worked for Pan American and Delta Airlines for 39 years as Crew Chief Supervisor. Bob was a lifetime member of Dedham American Legion Post 18.
Visiting hours at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, Sunday, Mar. 3 from 4-8pm. Funeral from the funeral home Monday, Mar. 4 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
