Rose L. (DeMarco) Ford, passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston early on Sunday. She was 87. Born and raised in Boston’s North End, she was the daughter of the late Emideo and Maria (Mamucci) DeMarco. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Rose worked with the Brockton School Department. She was a wonderful and kind person who enjoyed time with her family. She was also a dependable and wise friend whom everyone could count on.
The beloved wife of the late Ernest Ford, she was a devoted mother of Mark Ford, David Ford and the late Robin Ford. She is lovingly survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a dear sister to Frank DeMarco, Nancy LaFerrara, Maria Coreale, Franny DeLuca, the late Antonietta “Toni” LaFrazia, Louis DeMarco, Ralph “Arzie Bo” DeMarco, Anthony “LoBo” DeMarco and John “Mahoney” DeMarco.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Sacred Heart Church, 12 North Sq., Boston, on Friday, March 1st from 9 – 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated at 10 AM. Burial will be private.
