Jean D. Hutchins, 89, of Groton died Thursday, February 21, 2019. She was the wife of Les Hutchins.
Jean was born into this world in York, PA and departed it on the same date, her birthday, February 21.
Jean attended Elizabethtown College. She worked as a secretary at Fisher Control in Stonington for many years. One of her delights in life was taking motorcycle trips with her husband, Les. They also enjoyed camping and going to concerts. She and Les attended Old Mystic Baptist Church in Groton.
In addition to her husband, Jean is survived by her daughters, Jeri Zottoli and Jan Maples, and by her brother, Charles Bailey.
