Obituary

Worcester-Henry D. Kwiatkowski, 77, residing in Chesapeake, VA, for the past 7 years passed away December 20, 2005.

A native of Worcester, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Frank and Anna Kwiatkowski and the widower of Mary Odena Kwiatkowski. He retired after 31 years from Worcester Control Corps as a machine operator and truck driver. He was a driver for many years at Worcester Telegram and Gazette and also drove for Mass Transport. He was a member of St Joan of Arc’s while living in Worcester and Prince of Peace Church in Chesapeake during his final years. He was an honorary member of the Worcester Deaf Club.

He is survived by two sons: H. Franny and Robert Kwiatkowski both of Worcester, MA, and two daughters, Jean Cormier of Leominster, MA and Mary Stanhope - husband James of Chesapeake, VA.

Ten grandchildren: John, Billy, Lisa, Anna, Theresa, Christopher, David, Cheryl, Jaime, and Jay. Five great-grandchildren: Kayla, Joseph, Noah, Dimitri, and Jay Jr.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice. Calling Hours will be on January 4, 2006 from 6-8 pm. at Henry Dirsa Funeral Home, 33 Ward St, Worcester. The family will receive guests from 1130-1230 on January 5, 2006 prior to the funeral mass scheduled for 12:30 pm on January 5, 2006, at St Christopher Parish, 950 West Boylston, Worcester, proceeding to Notre Dame Cemetery.
