Kenneth "Kenny" Lee Garrett, 57, of Anderson passed away peacefully at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis following a courageous battle with cancer.
Kenny attended Madison Heights High School and previously worked at Guide Lamp.
Kenny's true passion in life was his love of cars. He loved working with, repairing, painting and restoring them. He truly enjoyed the chase of finding the perfect one to refurbish.
He was the only son of Ron and Juanita Garrett. Kenny was the joy of their life.
Kenny will be forever missed by his many friends and his longtime best friend, Buddy, his beloved dog.
Kenny was preceded in death by his loving mother, Juanita, in 2017.
He is survived by his father Ron; aunts and uncles, (Ron's sister and brother-in-law) Joan (Bill) Mauck; Joyce Garrett; Charles Steward, Glendola Nivens, Ann Cory, Bedford Steward, Charlotte Steward, Clyde Steward; cousins, Chris and Linsey of Kansas City, Missouri, Andrew Garrett, Kelsey Garrett and many other cousins.
Service will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Jim Harrison presiding. Visitation will start at 10:30 a.m. until the service at noon. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery.
We will always cherish that Kenny was in our lives and he will live on in our hearts forever.
