Nicholas F. Giacobbe

TEWKSBURY: Nicholas F. Giacobbe, age 29, a longtime Tewksbury resident, passed away at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, surrounded by his family and friends on Monday, February 18, 2019.
Born in Winchester on September 29, 1989, he was the son of Christine (O’Neal) Giacobbe of Tewksbury and Victor R. Giacobbe of Billerica.
Nick was raised in Tewksbury and attended Tewksbury schools.
He enjoyed skateboarding, music, riding his motorcycle, and having a good tuna sandwich.
Nick was employed by Local # 537 for the past 5 years.
Nick loved life and people. He was the true definition of real, the perfect balance of knowing how to wear his heart on his sleeve and exhibiting tremendous strength and loyalty. A soul you could always depend on and trust with your life. All of this was wrapped up in a ball of continuous humor. There will never be another person like Nick.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Victor M. Giacobbe and his fiancé Karlene Wilkins, Tyler, Trevor, Travis, and Trenton T. Giacobbe; his girlfriend, Caitlin McCauley; his mother’s fiancé, Scott Scibilia; also many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Nick was the maternal grandson of Donna Debaradinis Nicolo, Richard Nicolo, Frank O’Neal and Linda O’Neal and paternal grandson of Patricia and Michael Giacobbe.
Calling hours are Sunday, Feb. 24, from 3-7 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. His funeral procession will begin on Monday, Feb. 25, at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury.
