Linda Ragan Gagnon, 70, of Tifton passed away Monday, February 18, 2019, at the Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia in Tifton. A private family graveside service will be held for Ms. Gagnon at Crosland Baptist Church Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest. The Rev. Joseph L. Crumley will officiate.
Born March 19, 1948 in Jacksonville, Florida, Ms. Gagnon was the daughter of the late James C. Ragan and Mary Belle Baker Ragan. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Clifford G. Ragan and James D. Ragan. She was retired and of the Baptist faith. She loved her family, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids.
Ms. Gagnon is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Ragan and Karen Lawson of Tifton; one daughter, Laurie Lawson of Tifton; one sister, Sharon R. Basford of Jacksonville, Florida; her grandchildren, Luke and Becca Hogan and Cassie Hogan and Richard Long, all of Tifton and Bailey Lawson of Rome; her great-grandchildren, Shyloh Belle Long and Si Hogan; her nephews, Chad and Glenn Basford and David Ragan, all of Jacksonville, Florida; a niece, Christina Ragan of Jacksonville, Florida; several great-nephews and great-nieces; a special cousin, Becky Jordan; and close family friends, Hollie Bennett and Eric Norman.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Tift Area and the staff of the Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia in Tifton for their great service.
