David F. Justice, 59, of Douglas, Georgia (formerly of Fitzgerald), died Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, Georgia with the Rev. B.J. Funk officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mr. Justice was born September 16, 1959, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to Harriette “Boogie” Justice and the late Kenneth W. Justice. He was a 1978 graduate of Fitzgerald High School. He began a long career in construction supply sales by managing Sherwin-Williams in Fitzgerald. He owned and operated Justice Paint & Supply in Fitzgerald for over 25 years. He later worked for Affordable Hardware in Fitzgerald, Lowe’s Home Improvement in Tifton and was currently employed at Coley Electric in Douglas. Mr. Justice was an avid NASCAR fan and cheered for the Earnhardt family, both Dale and Dale, Jr. He was a longtime supporter of the Fitzgerald Purple Hurricanes, a member of the Jaycees, and a member and Past Worshipful Master in Pine Level Lodge #353 F.&A.M. He was a member of Central United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Justice of Douglas; children and their spouses: Gabe & Whitney Justice of Fitzgerald and Ashley & Issac Estrada of Douglas; grandchildren: Taylor Wade Justice, Landon Gabe Justice, Chaz Jarrard, Ethan Estrada, and Masen Estrada; his mother, Harriette “Boogie” Justice of Fitzgerald; siblings and their spouses: Denise & David Adkinson of Irwinville, Donna & James Wiley of Fitzgerald, and Doug & Loretta Justice of Holt; along with a niece and several nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth W. Justice.
