Mary E. Keeley, age 95, passed away at the Bear Hill Nursing Home in Wakefield, on December 27, following a extended illness she was the wife of the late William R. Keeley Sr.
Born in Canada, she was the daughter of the late Emma (Loeffler) and Thomas J. Reid
Mary was devoted to raising her family, she was a Medford resident for over 30 years formerly of Somerville, she enjoyed music, dancing, baking and most of all Christmas with her family.
She is survived by her three sons, William R. Keely Jr. and his wife Maria of Medford, John H. Keeley, and his wife Anna of Medford, Mary Evelyn McGoniagle of Lowell and James F. Keeley and his wife Linda of Chelmsford. Also fifteen loving grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. One sister Lillian Regan of Stoneham.
Along with her husband she was predeceased by two brothers Thomas and William Reid.
Her funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford, on Friday, December 30, at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St. Medford at 11. Services will conclude with burial at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting Hours Thursday 4 thru 8.
